🔥 The Curry Family Drama, Draymond's Feud, and Bronny's Struggle
Stephen Curry continued to dominate the headlines when Hall of Famer Charles Barkley claimed that players in his era would have ‘beat up’ the guard. He also claimed that they would have stopped the Warriors' star from shooting as many threes as he does today.
On the other hand, the 4-time champion’s wife, Ayesha Curry, went viral on social media. Clips of her appearance on a podcast where she talks about her dreams and how her husband does not understand what she wants quickly became a talking point.
Rapper Killer Mike apologized for his remarks about her comments, ending that little skirmish between them. However, his teammate, Draymond Green, went back to his skirmishing best, chop-blocking Lakers’ Jarred Vanderbilt, and then getting into a war of words.
Buying Cannabis Online Is Now Legal, And Incredibly Convenient
Thanks to changing laws buying THC online is now 100% federally legal.

Because, instead of memorizing confusing strain names – you simply choose how you want to feel: Creative, Social, Focused, Relaxed, Happy, Aroused, and more.
That was the Lakers’ 2nd straight preseason loss, and the majority of the blame fell on sophomore guard Bronny James. The son of the oldest player in the league has struggled mightily in these two games, shooting 1-12 in the first, and 2-6 in the 2nd .
This is at a time when the primary starters are out, with LeBron James and Luka Doncic either recovering or resting. This left many wondering how the franchise will step into the 2025-26 season.
🏀 A'ja Dominates Finals as WNBA Leadership Crisis Deepens with Collier's Snub
The league came into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after Napheesa Collier lambasted its leadership and revealed some questionable opinions from Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.
One of the comments was about Caitlin Clark, where she allegedly stated that the Fever guard should be thankful to the WNBA for providing her with a chance to earn millions in endorsement deals.
These comments set off a furor among fans, the media, and players, with many believing the league’s leadership needed a change. Engelbert initially deflected direct questions and then finally defended herself, clarifying that she did not say such things about the Fever guard.
Clark, on the other hand, supported Collier and even mentioned that the league needs a steady and strong leadership team to take it into its new era. Some of her teammates also took the time to slam the league and Engelbert for their stance on officiating and the CBA.
The Commissioner tried to reason and stated that she would try and meet with the Lynx star to clear up any confusion. However, Napheesa Collier has canceled the meeting planned with Engelbert, raising major questions about the state of the league.
Angel Reese took to her podcast to film her exit interview after skipping the official one with the Chicago Sky. There, she revealed that she played the first few games while still recovering from surgery. She also revealed that she made 6 figures on ‘Mebounds’ merchandise.
All of this happened as the first two games of the 2025 WNBA Finals were taking place. A’ja Wilson and her Aces managed to hold of the Phoenix Mercury in the first game, and then blew them out in the 2nd .
🏈 Hill's Season Ends, Dak's MVP Run Begins, NFL Week 5 Chaos
Another gruesome injury dominated headlines this past week after star wideout Tyreek Hill had to be carted off. He tore the ACL in his knee and will miss the rest of the season. After successful surgery, his agent reiterated that the receiver will return in time for next season.
Heading into Week 5, the Browns promoted Dillon Gabriel to be their starting QB. This led Shedeur Sanders to pantomime his answers in an interview. NBA star Damian Lillard wants Tom Brady’s Raiders to trade for the rookie QB after Geno Smith’s consistent struggles.
The Ravens continued their struggles and were embarrassed by the Texans. The Giants also struggled, leaving Jaxson Dart to blame himself for the loss to the Saints. Then there were the Cardinals, whose two baffling fumbles cost them an easy win against Cam Ward’s Titans.
Dak Prescott balled out against the New York Jets, connecting on 4 touchdowns to lead his Cowboys to an impressive win. After playing behind a depleted O-line and without CeeDee Lamb, fans and others have been calling him an MVP already.
Reigning MVP Josh Allen and his Bills were set to face former teammate Stefon Diggs and the Patriots. They were billed to easily defeat the rebuilding squad, but were surprised by Drake Maye and his leading wideout. Diggs had the last laugh, celebrating wildly later in the locker room.
AJ Brown brought more drama to his Eagles, deflecting blame onto Jalen Hurts despite video clips showing the wideout slowed down on a touchdown pass. Brown also cost DeVonta Smith during a last-ditch Hail Mary as his attempts to catch the ball impeded DeVonta Smith from doing the same.
⚾️ Big Papi's Prophecy: 'Da Yankees Lose' and Face Elimination
The New York Yankees are on the brink of elimination after a brutal 13-7 loss to the Blue Jays, putting them down 2-0 in the ALDS. Ace Max Fried, who was dominant in the Wild Card Series, struggled heavily, failing to record an out in the 4th inning and getting charged with seven runs. The game quickly spiraled after an Ernie Clement two-run shot.
The turning point was delivered by the Yankees' historic rival, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. After the bases were loaded by reliever Will Warren, Guerrero crushed the first postseason grand slam in Blue Jays franchise history, expanding the lead to 9-0. Daulton Varsho added to the onslaught with two home runs as Toronto's offense exploded for the second straight game.
Following the loss, the legendary David Ortiz couldn't resist a glorious troll job. "Big Papi" claimed that even "if Jesus comes back," the Yankees won't win the series, adding that their only chance is if a full squad of Yankees greats—including A-Rod, Jeter, Pettitte, and Mariano Rivera—return to play.
While the Yankees managed to scratch back to make it a 13-7 final, they now face a monumental task. The team has come back from a 2-0 deficit six times in franchise history (most recently in 2017), but they will have to win three straight games, starting at home, to keep their season alive.
