💥 Simone Biles vs. Riley Gaines: A Social Media Showdown No One Saw Coming

Simone Biles and Riley Gaines just lit up social media with a feud no one saw coming. It started when Gaines called out a Minnesota high school softball team, accusing their star player of being a “boy” and mocking the team for turning off comments.

Biles wasn’t having it. The Olympic icon fired back, calling Gaines a “bully” and accusing her of weaponizing her platform because she once lost a race. Simone urged her to uplift trans athletes instead of tearing them down.

Gaines hit back, labeling Biles’ comments “disappointing” and doubling down that women shouldn’t have to find ways to include men in women’s sports. She even joked about Simone trying pommel horse and rings in 2028.

The wild part? Just six months ago, Gaines called Biles the GOAT and said she didn’t care about her politics. Now, fitness host Jillian Michaels has offered them a live debate. Gaines is in — and Biles has yet to respond.

🏀 NBA Finals Ratings Crash, Wemby Turns Shaolin Monk, and MJ Era Scripted?

After Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals, the lack of a ‘BANG’ call from ESPN’s Mike Breen for Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winner was the talk of the league. When Lil Wayne tags the Pacers guard as Jesus after his Game 1 heroics, it must be good enough to draw a ‘BANG’.

However, that game-winner was not enough to help the league garner viewers, as they ended up with a 25% drop over last year’s Finals Game 1. It is not a good sign for the league, which was also in the midst of a storm after not featuring the Larry O’Brien trophy or the Finals logo.

In Game 2, they drew some more heat after digitally placing the trophy and the logo on the court. At least there was nothing digital about the game after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his Thunder dominated the Pacers to even the series.

No weekend seems to be without any conversations concerning Michael Jordan and LeBron James. A journalist uncovered that the 1998 Finals was a sham as Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman’s famous brawl was a trailer for their upcoming NWO wrestling bout, and hence was fake.

The journalist claims an asterisk should be placed on Jordan’s 6th title, making it easier for James to go after the GOAT mantle. The latter, has been harping about his merits, and when he tried to do so again on his podcast, he was met with some serious pushback from fans. At least his shoutout to fellow Olympic flag bearer, Coco Gauff, did not draw criticism.

Players not playing in the NBA Finals are usually chilling at a club or are on vacation. 3 days ago, Victor Wembanyama was at the Great Wall of China. Recent activity shows the French phenom at a Shaolin Temple, replete in monk’s clothing, head shaven, and living amongst them.

🎾 Roland Garros Banger: Alcaraz’s Miracle Comeback, Gauff Ends U.S. Drought

Carlos Alcaraz delivered one of the greatest comebacks in tennis history, saving three championship points to win the 2025 French Open. In an epic five-set battle, he edged past world No. 1 Jannik Sinner 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(10-2). The showdown stretched a record five hours and 29 minutes, making it the longest final in Roland Garros history.

This was the first Grand Slam final meeting between Alcaraz and Sinner, adding another chapter to their fast-rising rivalry. Sinner had the early momentum, but Alcaraz refused to fold. Inspired by his idol Rafael Nadal, the Spaniard clawed his way back, leaning on the same grit and resilience that made Nadal a legend in Paris.

In the decisive tiebreak, Alcaraz was lights out. With nerves at their highest, he fired four clutch winners before sealing the match with a picture-perfect forehand passing shot. Afterward, Alcaraz credited Nadal’s iconic comebacks as his mental fuel during the darkest stretches of the final.

On the women’s side, Coco Gauff made her own bit of history. She toppled world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in three sets to become the first American woman to win the French Open since Serena Williams in 2015. Gauff later gave Alcaraz a shoutout on X, reminiscing about their trip to Beijing last fall when both lifted trophies at the China Open.

🏁 Winners and Losers from NASCAR Michigan

🏆 Winners

🔥 Chris Buescher Heats Up
Buescher delivered one of his best runs of the season, charging to second after a slick late-race move on Ty Gibbs. It was his second top-five and sixth top-10 this year, keeping him 14th in the playoff standings. Even without a win, he’s quietly building a solid postseason case.

⚡ Ty Gibbs Keeps Climbing
Another week, another strong showing for Ty Gibbs. He grabbed third at Michigan, and while that first win still eludes him in 2025, he’s gaining steam at the right time. Gibbs is proving he’s not just a future star — he’s ready to be a problem right now.

👶🏆 Denny Hamlin’s Big Day
In his 701st career Cup Series start, Hamlin bagged his third win of the season after a tense late duel with William Byron. Even more impressive? He pulled off some dad-duty magic too — flying back and forth from North Carolina to be with fiancée Jordan Fish ahead of their baby’s arrival. Superdad mode: activated.

😬 Losers

💔 Carson Hocevar’s Hometown Gut-Punch
It was all lined up for Hocevar to score his first Cup Series win… in front of his Michigan home crowd no less. But after leading 32 laps, a blown tire with just 19 laps left crushed those hopes. From contender to 29th — brutal.

⛽ William Byron’s Fuel Gamble Fails
Byron absolutely dominated, leading 98 laps and looking like a lock for victory. But with under two laps to go, a fuel-saving strategy bit him hard. He ran out of gas coming to the white flag, had to pit from second, and limped home 30th. Pain.

🚨 Alex Bowman’s Playoff Hopes Fading
Bowman desperately needed a clean day — and didn’t get it. A Lap 67 crash sent him packing early, marking his seventh finish outside the top 25 in the last nine races. Now just 13 points above the playoff cutline, it’s panic time for the No. 48 team.
