LeBron James’ future with Lakers in doubt, Draymond Green gets roasted, and Jaylen Brown flames Stephen A. Smith
Draymond Green saw himself being roasted more than Kevin Hart, for whom Netflix set up the roast. From Dwayne Johnson to Tom Brady, to every comedian on the stage, everyone trolled the forward and his Warriors’ recent lack of success in the postseason, despite bringing back Steve Kerr.
Lakers’ head coach JJ Redick was emotional after OKC swept his team in four games. The focus shifts to LeBron James’ future. Reports revealed that he felt the Lakers were taking him for granted.
While some defended his opinion, citing how the Lakers have been selfish to push him to the side, others, such as Stephen A. Smith, felt that a lot of this has to do with how James and his entourage have deflected accountability in the past.
Drake took shots at James and his past friendship in his new album, Iceman. At the same time, the rapper hyped Stephen Curry and had Kevin Durant at his launch party. However, James has not talked about it yet.
Jaylen Brown returned to his live stream to take a swipe at Smith and his fellow analysts for running their mouths without accurate details. He labeled them as people leaning on clickbait content to boost their careers, despite their claims of trying to help the sport.
The 76ers fired Daryl Morey as soon as they started their offseason. Former Warriors’ GM Bob Myers will lead the search for the next executive. Morey faced flak from Joel Embiid and other players for his decisions this past season.

Aaron Rodgers for another season, Chargers troll Mike Vrabel, Dak Prescott moves on (allegedly)
The biggest story of this week was Aaron Rodgers' return to the Pittsburgh Steelers after they negotiated a $25 million contract for next season. The 42-year-old is expected to join the team’s offseason training activities, even though his return did not excite many.
If Mike Vrabel thought he was going to avoid any more reports about his relationship with Dianna Russini, he was wrong after the Chargers used their schedule release to troll him. Russini stepped out in public and had an intimate moment with her husband, suggesting she is moving on.
Eagles’ tackle Fred Johnson’s girlfriend exposed him for abandoning her while she was eight months into her pregnancy with their daughter. She revealed that he has been on Hinge trying to mingle with other women.
On the relationship front, Dak Prescott was seen with ex Sarah Jane Ramos’ bridesmaid, sparking rumors. At the same time, die-hard Eagles fan and first lady Kylie Kelce confirmed she would not let her daughters date Cowboys fans.
Stefon Diggs and Cardi B may be working their way back together, but the wide receiver has a long way to go after fans captured him on video getting an earful from the rapper. She later clarified that it was a normal argument, but more videos prove that the two had been at it at a Maryland café.
Fernando Mendoza missed the Indiana Hoosiers’ visit to the White House. He apparently made a call to President Donald Trump to apologize, as he is busy at the Raiders’ training camp. From early videos, fans believe the rookie is already ahead of veteran Kirk Cousins.
With NFL training camps underway, do not miss out on the updates next week.

Caitlin Clark banishes ‘Linsanity’ claims, Paige Bueckers’ head coach fumes, Angel Reese gets trolled, again
After an analyst compared Caitlin Clark’s past success with ‘Linsanity,’ she has been on a tear. She broke multiple records in the last two games for the Indiana Fever and is currently a hot favorite for the MVP award.
Her three-point stroke seems to have come back, but she acknowledged that her team needs to improve its defense. Despite her heroic efforts, they could not stop the Sonia Citron-led Mystics from winning in overtime.
Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie clapped back at GMs who chose Paige Bueckers over Clark in a survey on the player they would like to start a franchise with. She felt they did not take into account the Fever star’s popularity, which helps generate revenue.
After Bueckers and her Wings won their season-opener against Clark’s Fever, they have gone downhill, losing their next two games. HC Jose Fernandez called out the team, labelling them ‘selfish’ after choking late.
Angel Reese did not hear the end of it after fans trolled her for comparing herself to A’ja Wilson before the Dream’s game against the Aces. The forward shot just 1-8 from the field, and committed 8 turnovers.
The sole brownie point was when Reese managed to hold Wilson to just 20 points. In the previous game, the Aces superstar finished with 45 points. That made her the only player in league history to record multiple games of 45+ points.
The WNBA season is more exciting than ever. Ensure to keep yourself updated next week.
Aaron Rai’s triumph, and Rory McIlroy barks at heckler
Aaron Rai captured the 108th PGA Championship on Sunday, firing a 5‑under final round to secure his first major title. The Englishman battled through a tense leaderboard where 22 golfers were within four shots after Saturday.
Rai broke free with an eagle on the 9th and a string of birdies on the back nine. The defining moment came at the 17th hole, where he drained a 70‑foot birdie putt to open a three‑shot cushion. He closed with a par on 18, finishing ahead of Jon Rahm and Alex Smalley.
Rai becomes the first Englishman in over 107 years to win this event, following Jim Barnes’ victories in 1916 and 1919. He also jumped to 15th in the Official World Golf Rankings and pocketed $3.69 million from the $20.5 million purse.
Rory McIlroy, meanwhile, endured another hostile fan encounter. On the 16th hole, after failing to escape a bunker, he was heckled with “USA” chants. McIlroy snapped back with a fierce NSFW retort and pointed security toward the spectator.
This continues a pattern of heckling he has faced, including the 2025 Ryder Cup in New York, where fans hurled insults and even a beer at his wife, Erica Stoll. McIlroy finished tied for 7th, five shots behind Rai, missing out on his 7th major championship.

Jannik Sinner continues his impressive run, and Elina Svitolina returns to winning ways
Jannik Sinner broke quite a few records after winning the Italian Open with a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline against Casper Ruud. He is the youngest man, as well as the second man after Novak Djokovic, to complete the Career Golden Masters.
He is also the first man to win six consecutive Masters titles, with the streak starting at the 2025 Paris Masters. Before his win, Sinner survived a scare in the semifinals as he dropped the second set against Daniil Medvedev and also threw up mid-match due to physical discomfort and illness.
Next, after a much-needed break, Sinner will be focusing on his goal of completing the Career Grand Slam at Roland Garros.
In the women's Rome final, Elina Svitolina beat last year's runner-up Coco Gauff 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-2, lifting her first Big Title after motherhood. She had previously come close to winning in Dubai but lost the final to Jessica Pegula.
Gauff, who has yet to win a title since the 2025 Wuhan Open, will be bidding to defend her title at the French Open, where she defeated Aryna Sabalenka last year. It was the Belarusian who denied Gauff the win in this year's Miami Open final.
The main draw of the French Open will start on Sunday (May 24th). Men's two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz won't be playing because of his wrist injury, a decision backed by his idol, Rafael Nadal.

NASCAR Chaos: $1M Joy, Emotional Breakdown & A Huge Career Decision
Denny Hamlin won the All-Star Race and its $1 million prize, but instead of talking about spending it on himself, he focused on family. Hamlin joked that the money would eventually go to his kids, giving fans a rare, wholesome moment.
On the other side, Natalie Decker had a nightmare weekend at Dover. Frustration built throughout the race, leading to an emotional radio outburst where she called herself a “failure” and even suggested she never wanted to return to the Truck Series.
Hendrick Motorsports’ Rajah Caruth was remorseful after wrecking Richard Childress Racing’s Jesse Love again. After the latter’s race ended, Caruth made it clear that he said sorry several times, but was not sure whether it was enough.
Meanwhile, Kyle Larson admitted his days of attempting the Indy 500/Coke 600 Double may be over after repeated struggles. But as Larson steps back, Katherine Legge wants to take on the same challenge and sees it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Chase Elliott was not sure the Dover All-Star Race was any different from the other stops on the calendar. On the other hand, Brad Keselowski wishes NASCAR would allow the 90-minute practice runs at Dover to continue at every race, as it would be good for the sport’s future.
The 2026 NASCAR season is not devoid of action and drama. Do not miss out next week.
