⚾️ Ohtani, Judge Go Yard Before Dodgers’ Blowout
The Dodgers and Yankees gave us a blockbuster rematch of the 2024 World Series — and boy, it did not disappoint. Game 1 delivered fireworks right out the gate, with both Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani launching first-inning homers. It marked the first time two MVPs homered in the opening frame of the same game. Ohtani wasn’t done either, flexing another bomb later in the night as LA took the win.
The Dodgers didn’t just win — they obliterated the Yankees in Game 2, dropping an 18-2 beatdown that’ll sting in the Bronx for a while. LA took the series 2-1 and reminded everyone why they’re still one of the most feared teams in baseball.

And speaking of bounce backs — Juan Soto admitted he’s been battling through a rough patch this season. Since that admission? Back-to-back homers. Sometimes, honesty really is the best policy.
🏀 From Chalamet’s Bad Luck to Caitlin Clark’s Energy: Indiana Runs New York Out
Before Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals took place, much of the discussion centered around the New York Knicks and what they needed to do to win an NBA title. Stephen A. Smith, however, clarified that his hometown team did not have what it takes to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He did not have to wonder anymore about how the Knicks would have performed after the Indiana Pacers blew their opponents out of their building. The home team displayed the best form of team-first basketball, something the Knicks could not counter.
The game had many New York celebrities in attendance, most notably Timothee Chalamet, who brought his girlfriend along to help his Knicks win. But the loss meant that her playoff-winning streak ended.
On the flip side, Caitlin Clark’s presence helped the Indiana Pacers win. She was completely engrossed in the game, even wearing the Pacers’ t-shirt and hitting the Jalen Brunson three-point celebration after close friend Tyrese Haliburton’s three. She even bear-hugged the latter’s girlfriend after the game.
They could have celebrated more had the Pacers guard won the East Finals MVP. Instead, he had a comical situation when it was announced that Pascal Siakam won it. At least he got the last laugh and ended up trolling Knicks fan Ben Stiller.
The latest episode of Mind the Game podcast dropped, and it featured their 1st official guest in the form of Luka Doncic. The Slovenian revealed how he manipulates the pace of the game. Then it was time for his veteran teammate, LeBron James, who used his own example to explain how commercialization in youth sports is counterproductive.
🏈 Diggs Drama, Brady’s New Moves, and Josh Allen Says ‘I Do’
The NFL world was centered around the Stefon Diggs controversy. Many expected the New England Patriots to cut the superstar wideout, whereas others felt he at least needed to be reprimanded. So far, no news has come out of their camp, but some tense words could be exchanged behind the scenes.
Those tense words could become either louder or more aggressive after another explicit video of him, along with Cardi B, surfaced. Fans now want the Patriots to cut the wide receiver as his antics are not befitting the organization.

Another former New England Patriot, Tom Brady, was in the news for two reasons. One was when he teased an upcoming collaboration with streamer IShowSpeed. Secondly, news emanated that his former wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, is worth more than the NFL’s GOAT, owing to her various sources of income.
Josh Allen now adds another source of income after he married his fiancée and actress Hailey Steinfeld, over the weekend. They did not want it to be a grand ceremony, therefore had close family and friends over at Santa Clara in California as witnesses as they exchanged vows.
Deion Sanders vowed to support his son, Shedeur Sanders, and he did exactly that by contradicting reports that his son was unprepared for his interview with the New York Giants. He clarified that his quarterback son was preparing for those draft interviews all throughout his collegiate career.
