🏈 The Suspension Demand, A Star's Injury & A Controversial Call

Tyreek Hill continues to be the most talked-about Miami Dolphins player. This time, a women’s rights organization is demanding that the NFL suspend the wideout after repeated instances of domestic violence towards ex-wife Keeta Vaccaro.

He also had another mini-crashout after QB Tua Tagovailoa sent a throw sailing despite the receiver getting open. The Dolphins lost to the Patriots as fans continue to ask for Mike McDaniel to be fired.

In Week 2’s opener, Austin Ekeler tore his Achilles, which is expected to keep him out for the season. Then Josh Allen had to substitute himself after taking a knock on his nose. He displayed his toughness when he came back to lead his team to a win.

That should silence NBA star Draymond Green, who claimed Allen was not good enough to win a Super Bowl. Then there was Joe Burrow, who lasted all of 7 minutes before injuring his toe. He could be out for 3 months if he undergoes surgery.

Despite him not being on the field, the Bengals won the game after Jaguars’ rookie Travis Hunter was slapped with a 15-yard penalty for pass interference on a crucial 4th down play. However, fans do not agree with that call.

Jerry Jones’ Cowboys won against the Giants despite Russell Wilson’s monster 450-yard outing, marking head coach Brian Schottenheimer’s first win. The Chiefs are yet to win, after losing a close battle to their Super Bowl LIX opponents, with Travis Kelce’s slippery hands playing a factor.

Special teams contributed to a loss for the Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers. At the same time, it helped Caitlin Clark celebrate a Colts win after a Broncos penalty gave their kicking team another crack at victory.

🔥 Green's Hot Take, The Ballmer Battle & Giannis' Revenge

Draymond Green started another furor after claiming that NFL star Josh Allen was not capable of leading the Bills to a championship. In retaliation, fans pointed out that he has always been a third wheel on the Warriors, hence his opinions do not matter.

The opinion of a former Aspiration CEO has become a talking point in the Kawhi Leonard-Los Angeles Clippers scandal after he claimed none of the conversations at the time of the endorsement deal talked about circumventing the salary cap.

Mavericks’ minority owner Mark Cuban, who has been playing for Clippers owner Steve Ballmer so far, used the article to continue trolling Pablo Torre, the journalist who brought this scandal to light.

It was then revealed that Ballmer invested a further $10 million, other than the original $50 million. But that has not been proven to have any link with Leonard’s endorsement deal with Aspiration.

When it comes to money, Charles Barkley revealed to NFL star George Kittle that his friends stopped him from gambling his winnings away after hauling in a good amount during the past American Century golf Championship.

Rockets’ star Alperen Sengun started a war of words before Turkey’s semifinal against Greece, claiming Giannis Antetokounmpo is not a good passer. They won, and the former moved on to the EuroBasket 2025 final.

There, the Rockets' star could not continue his stellar form and lost to Germany. After the game, he stood stone-faced beside a beaming Antetokounmpo, who led Greece to the Bronze medal. The Bucks star then listed his accolades in a way to add on to Sengun’s misery.

🏀 The Reese-Sky Standstill, Clark's Playoff Drama & A Champion's Injury

Angel Reese’s situation has taken another turn after the Chicago Sky’s GM, Jeff Pagliocca, clarified that the franchise does not want to trade her away, unless a situation arises where they have no option.

He claimed that the team has moved past her criticisms and they are now working towards next season. The star forward spent the weekend meeting UFC star Terence Crawford backstage. She wore a stunning one-piece dress, sending fans into a frenzy.

Caitlin Clark, on the other hand, travelled with her team to Atlanta, where the Fever took on the Dream in the 1st round of the playoffs. The game was a lopsided affair, with the star guard often seen arguing and sarcastically applauding officials.

The defending champion New York Liberty won against the Phoenix Mercury in overtime, but a knee injury to star forward Breanna Stewart has raised questions about their ability to defend their crown.

A’ja Wilson and her Aces resoundingly beat the Seattle Storm to state their intent of fighting for 3rd championship. The Minnesota Lynx want the same, and made their mark by blowing out the upstart Golden State Valkyries by nearly 30 points.

⚾️ The Walk-Off, The Clinch & A Historic Drought

After a brutal 8-game losing run, the New York Mets finally tasted victory thanks to a thrilling 3-run walk-off home run from Pete Alonso. It was a dramatic finish that sparked a much-needed celebration for a team that has struggled mightily to close out games.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Phillies clinched their fourth straight playoff berth, making them the second team after the Brewers to secure a postseason spot. They did so without taking the field, as the San Francisco Giants’ loss to the Dodgers officially sealed their spot.

Over in the American League, the Seattle Mariners are the hottest team in baseball. They extended their win streak to nine games after a dominant 11-2 victory over the Angels, a win that vaulted them past the Houston Astros to claim the top spot in the AL West.

But the win came at a steep price for their opponent. With their elimination, the Los Angeles Angels will miss the playoffs for an 11th consecutive season—the longest active drought in MLB history. Another year of wasted talent, another year of October baseball on the sidelines
