🏌️ Fleetwood's $10M Triumph, Celebrity Shout-Outs & Rahm's Redemption

For years, Tommy Fleetwood was the guy everyone loved but who couldn't quite get over the finish line. In 163 previous PGA Tour starts, he had racked up an incredible 30 top-5 finishes and six runner-up spots. But this week, at his 164th attempt, he finally got it done.

This wasn't just any win, either. By triumphing at the Tour Championship, Fleetwood was also crowned the FedEx Cup champion. This historic victory came with a mind-boggling $10 million prize, a payout that would make anyone's head spin. The significance of the moment wasn't lost on the sporting world, as everyone from Tiger Woods to LeBron James, Caitlin Clark, and even his favorite soccer club, Everton FC, sent their congratulations, celebrating a win for one of golf's good guys.

While Fleetwood was busy making history on the PGA Tour, there was a dramatic finish over on the LIV circuit. Jon Rahm's Legion XIII squad squared off against Bryson DeChambeau and his Crushers GC in the Team Championship. It all came down to a thrilling playoff, with Rahm and his team finally pulling off the victory.

The win was especially sweet for Rahm, who had lost in two consecutive playoffs in the weeks leading up to the Team Championship. He was the one who was going to have to make the putt to avoid losing in three straight playoffs, but he came out on top, sealing the win for his team.

😠 Jaylen's Family Feud, Draymond's Beef & MPJ's Claim

Malik Beasley is finally off the hook after it was revealed that he was no longer a subject of the federal investigation looking into players who had aided bettors. This leaves him a chance to sign a good mid-level contract as a free agent.

Jaylen Brown signed the first near-$300 million contract in NBA history. Despite earning that much money, fans wondered why his father, former boxer Marselles Brown, had to stab another person after a parking dispute.

Michael Porter Jr. continued his unending media tour. This time, he claimed that he was the difference maker in the Denver Nuggets’ string of wins over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Draymond Green knows what it takes to win games and titles. When the young Houston Rockets decided to call his Golden State Warriors out, he was there to respond. In doing so, he also got into a back-and-forth with Tari Eason’s mother.

After she claimed it was going to be war, the Warriors star seemingly trolled her son’s team. Knowing this was about to blow up, Tari Eason and his mother tried to calm the situation with some words of appreciation for the 4-time champion.

Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant became part of sports history after a rare exclusive trading card featuring their photos, signatures, and NBA logos from each of their jerseys managed to fetch $12.9 million at auction. That makes it the most expensive sports trading card in history.

🏈 Jerry's Jabs, The Browns' Betrayal & A Brother's Battle

After Jerry Jones called out Micah Parsons’ agent for impeding contract talks, fans believed the billionaire was at fault. Then, when he revealed how the pass rusher’s agent had been meddling with the negotiations, fans turned around and started supporting the Dallas Cowboys owner.

Support is a major aspect in any sport, and fans believe Shedeur Sanders seems to be losing it, courtesy of the Browns. First, head coach Kevin Stefanski did not allow him to run the 2-minute drill.

Then, there were reports that Sanders’ poor performance in the final preseason game was because the franchise let go of the entire offensive line that helped him play well in the 1st one. Rumors are the team is doing what they can to justify once they release the 5th round pick.

His brother, Shilo Sanders, was also in the news. During their preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, he got into a tug of war with tight end Zach Davidson, which then ended with Sanders throwing punches right in front of the officials.

He was tossed, but his situation was just about to get worse. Hours later, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released him. They did not specifically reveal the reason, but head coach Todd Bowles’ words suggest the punches made it easier for them to let him go.

Some believe the Colorado star will get a call from a team looking for cover at the safety position. The next couple of weeks will prove whether the Sanders brothers manage to have a job in the NFL on opening night.

🏀 The Fever's Fight, Angel Vs Candace & An MVP Race

Caitlin Clark has started light workouts with teammates before her Fever lost the 6th out of their last 8 games. They are now 8th in the standings and on the verge of losing out on a playoff spot after facing an injury crisis.

Her teammate, Lexie Hull, faced a vicious elbow from Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride as fans continue to point out officiating lapses. Some hope Clark returns in time to save the team’s playoff hopes before the regular season ends.

Angel Reese’s Sky are already out of the playoffs, but did not stop from putting on a show. She and fellow young star Kamilla Cardoso combined to dominate the defending champion New York Liberty in an impressive win.

She, however, took the high road when asked about Candace Parker’s recent C-Tier comments. Reese was rather interested in talking about her upcoming signature shoe that she hopes will have a similar impact to Air Jordans.

Three perpetrators responsible for throwing NSFW toys have been arrested so far as the WNBA continues to investigate and find those responsible for creating havoc at their games. All are facing various charges, with some set to face prison time.

Napheesa Collier returned from injury to pick up where she left off. With Alyssa Thomas’ consistent triple-doubles and A’ja Wilson’s otherworldly record-setting performances, the MVP race is heating up to become an exciting race.
