It all came down to the final race of the season at the Yas Marina Circuit. Going into the Abu Dhabi GP, Lando Norris held a 12-point lead over Max Verstappen. Qualifying saw Verstappen on pole and Norris alongside him in second — a strong starting position, but not domination.

With third place in Abu Dhabi, Norris became world champion — his first F1 drivers’ title, by a razor-thin margin of just two points over Verstappen. That made him the first British champion since 2020, and the first driver from McLaren to win the title since 2008.

For many, this victory was more than just about speed: it was a testament to consistency under pressure. Norris demonstrated that with calm focus, strategic racing, and resilience — even when things weren’t perfect — it is possible to triumph amid chaos.

The Denver Broncos won their 10^th game of the season, bringing back hope among their fans that times have changed. But the Kansas City Chiefs might not be able to say that after a disappointing loss to the Texans.

Patrick Mahomes’ 3 INTs and Travis Kelce’s 8-yard outing have raised eyebrows, with fans of the latter hoping he hangs it up after this season. This season is effectively over for the Colts, who lost the resurgent Daniel Jones to an Achilles tear.
