🏀 Courtside Chaos, Playoff Blowouts & Celebrity Clashes: The NBA Playoffs Tip Off with Drama

The NBA playoffs were scheduled to kick off on the eve of Easter Sunday. Prior to that, an altercation between Sacramento Kings star DeMar DeRozan and a fan caught the attention of basketball fans. The fan took his phone right into DeRozan’s face, which he did not like and caused a scuffle.

Then, as the playoffs started, fans noticed that several courtside ticket holders were not wearing playoff t-shirts teams lay out on the seats. Franchises want their fans to wear those t-shirts to support the playoff atmosphere, but the entitled millionaires and billionaires chose to ignore it.

Fans hope franchises start enforcing it, as every team needs the support. The Oklahoma City Thunder were spared much of that as their fans wore team t-shirts right from the start. They saw the team obliterate the Memphis Grizzlies to win by one of the largest margins in playoff history.

In another game, fans saw the Minnesota Timberwolves run the Los Angeles Lakers out of their building. Franchise legend Magic Johnson slammed his team after watching a general lack of effort. LeBron James, though, did not spare any effort to slam rapper Kevin Gates, who took a swipe at his wife, Savannah James.

At least the Golden State Warriors had their effort in check as they easily defeated the Houston Rockets. Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler led the scoring, but it was a total team performance won them the game.

🏁 Piastri Takes the Crown, Norris Misses the Bus & Hamilton's Ferrari Blues Continue

Oscar Piastri was ice cold in the desert heat of Jeddah. The Aussie didn’t even need pole position to grab his third win of the season and snatch the championship lead. Calm, clinical, and completely unbothered by pressure — Piastri is starting to look like the real deal.

Lando Norris, meanwhile, had the speed to match his teammate but parked it (literally) in Q3 with a crash. Starting from P10, he clawed his way up to P4, but it was still a weekend of what-ifs and missed points for the Brit.

Over at Ferrari, Charles Leclerc finally looked like… Charles Leclerc. A clever tyre call landed him on the podium, giving the Tifosi something to cheer about. But let’s not crown Ferrari just yet — consistency still seems allergic to them.

Mercedes looked fast on Saturday, but Sunday told a different story. Russell and rookie Antonelli both dropped pace when it mattered, finishing P5 and P6. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz continues to thrive in his Williams era, helping secure a P8 finish with some smart teamwork alongside Albon.

Sauber’s race? Let’s just say their strategy couldn’t save them from being slow. But props to rookie Isack Hadjar — he nearly snuck into the points again and is making a name for himself.

And then there’s Lewis Hamilton… still figuring out how to make peace with his new Ferrari. He looked completely off the pace, and that early-season fire seems to be flickering. Buckle up, it’s going to be a long season for Sir Lewis.

🥊 FS QUICK HITS

⚾️ Jazz Gets Tossed, Arraez Gets Carted, and the Reds Go Nuclear

It was a wild week in the majors — ejections, injuries, and a scoreboard explosion straight out of a video game. Let’s break it down.

Jazz Chisholm got tossed in the seventh inning of the Yankees’ win over the Rays after arguing a strike call that was, well, not even close. After being ejected, Jazz jumped on social media and tweeted, “Not even f***ing close.” He quickly deleted it, but MLB wasn’t amused. He’s now facing a one-game suspension for violating the league’s social media policy. Jazz says he was fired up, and he’ll appeal the suspension — but the tweet did its damage.

Meanwhile, in Houston, a scary scene unfolded. Padres DH Luis Arraez collided with Mauricio Dubón at first base and dropped to the ground, barely moving. Trainers rushed in, and Arraez was stretchered off and sent to the hospital. Thankfully, he was responsive, gave a thumbs-up, and was cleared to return to the clubhouse after the game. The Padres pulled out a tight 3-2 win behind some Tatis Jr. magic, but everyone was just relieved Arraez was okay.

And then there were the Reds. Cincinnati dropped a 24-run nuke on the Orioles in a 24-2 win — their second-highest scoring game since 1900. Elly De La Cruz kicked it off with a solo homer, and it spiraled from there. Ten Reds players got hits. Austin Wynns went 6-for-7 with 6 RBI. Noelvi Marte topped that with 7 RBI and a grand slam. Baltimore, meanwhile, ran out of pitchers — so they let position players Jorge Mateo and Gary Sánchez pitch. Yeah. It was that kind of day.

Baltimore’s pitching staff now has the worst ERA in baseball, and Charlie Morton’s sits at 10.89. The Reds, on the other hand, are suddenly looking like a juggernaut. From ejections to hospital runs to historical blowouts — MLB gave us a full highlight reel this week.

🤼 WrestleMania 41: Chaos, Crowns, and a Curtain Call

Seth Rollins pulled off another legendary heist — but this time, with Paul Heyman as his partner in crime. A decade after his iconic WrestleMania 31 cash-in, Rollins turned the tables again, with Heyman betraying both Roman Reigns and CM Punk. The shocker ended the night with jaws on the floor and reset the power dynamics in WWE.

Jey Uso finally got his moment. After years of being the nearly-man, he conquered Gunther and captured the World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd erupted as Uso survived a brutal beatdown and made Gunther tap to his own submission. A long-awaited payoff, and the crowd was all in.

John Cena’s final WrestleMania match was stripped down and raw — no lights, no pyro, just business. He fought Cody Rhodes in a slow-burn classic, trying to win his record 17th world title. Cena threw everything he had, but Cody survived four Attitude Adjustments and sealed the win. The torch was officially passed.

Elsewhere, The New Day stole the tag titles in classic fashion, and Jade Cargill finally took down Naomi after months of tension. Fatu crushed LA Knight to win the U.S. title in the night’s most physical match. WrestleMania 41 had its lulls, but when it delivered — it really delivered.
