Knicks’ Foul Play Outrage, Jordan’s LeBron Praise, and Dillon Brooks’ DUI Arrest
After Luka Doncic faced criticism for the second week running, the situation flipped when he and Austin Reaves guided the team to an impressive win over the Knicks. Fans pointed out how this win proved that LeBron James, who missed the game with injuries, was the weak link.
Michael Jordan thrashed the GOAT debate as it has led to animosity among fans and former players. He wants everyone to appreciate all the work done by former players, and praised LeBron James for what he has achieved in his career.
Knicks head coach Mike Brown and franchise superfan Ben Stiller called out the league for allowing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to get away with deliberate foul calls. Even ESPN’s Doris Burke resumed her criticism of the OKC star, pointing out how others do not get the same calls.
Another Knicks fan, Stephen A. Smith, resumed his battle with Zion Williamson and the Pelicans after criticizing the forward’s eating habits. Smith went on a 12-minute rant to suggest that he was bigger than the $3.5 billion franchise.
Carmelo Anthony courted controversy when he suggested that Jayson Tatum should come off the bench when he returns, as Jaylen Brown was the Celtics’ leader. But the team started Tatum, and he helped them to two straight wins.
Dillon Brooks was arrested for DUI, even though he is out injured. On the other hand, charges against Patrick Beverley were dropped after it turned out his teenage sister had fabricated a different version of the events that led to his arrest.

$16M Profit, The Prada Front Row, and the March 10 Deadline
With the WNBA and players' union still locking horns over the next Collective Bargaining Agreement, Charles Barkley advised players not to ‘overplay their hand.’ The Hall of Famer made it clear that owners simply do not care and would not budge even if players strike.
Caitlin Clark has similar opinions and wanted the union and the league to ‘shake hands’ and come to an agreement, especially after the bad blood that has been spilled on both sides ever since the negotiations started.
The Fever star and Barkley starred in a commercial for Capital One alongside Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, where the point guard was shooting three-pointers at the two NBA legends and the Hollywood icon.
Clark’s three-pointer was also the winner for her Team USA red team in the practice-closing three-point shootout. She has been officially assigned the No. 12 jersey and was working with veteran point guards Chelsea Gray and Kelsey Plum in USA Basketball’s training camp in Miami.
She will be playing without her Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston, and former U-17 teammate, Sonia Citron, after both suffered injuries that would keep them out for a while. In their place, Rae Burrell and Monique Billings are going to Puerto Rico.
Angel Reese has been assigned the No. 9 jersey and, along with Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark, will be the most important superstars at the FIBA qualifiers. Knowing how much they would draw viewers, TNT Sports signed a deal with FIBA to broadcast USA Basketball games.
Maxx Crosby Fallout, Raiders’ $20M Gamble, and "Cap Casualty" Breakups
Tom Brady saw his name go viral for two reasons. One was when Logan Paul thanked the GOAT for starting something that wound up in a $1 million boxing bout with NFL stars. Le’Veon Bell accepted, but WWE stopped Paul from running the event.
The second was when Maxx Crosby highlighted how Brady’s trainer, Alex Guerrero, was in and around the Raiders' facilities a lot more than the pass rusher liked. It was also touted as the reason for Crosby’s trade demand after the Ravens sent two 1st-round picks for the sack artist.
The Raiders accepted that deal after rejecting Jerry Jones’ offer of one 1st -round pick and a second-rounder. This time, fans and critics lauded the billionaire for at least trying to get a deal done. Now, his focus shifts to Trey Hendrickson.
After Jones handed out a franchise tag to George Pickens and a qualifying offer to kicker Brandon Aubrey, the energy magnate has to restructure some deals with the likes of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to create cap space.
That process might be tricky with the quarterback, who broke up with fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos at their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas, a month before their wedding was planned.
Breakups were also aplenty in the offseason, with Patrick Mahomes losing two important contributors, and the Bears drafting a replacement at center, while also trading away DJ Moore to the Bills. The Patriots also informed Stefon Diggs that their relationship was over.
Aaron Rodgers revealed how paparazzi have been stalking and sending drones to get a picture of his wife. He reiterated that there is a bounty for her picture, but these incidents forced them to escape from their Malibu house.
