šŸ€ Curry's Sneaker Stunt, Draymond's Feud, and Beverley's Arrest

Stephen Curry broke headlines when it was announced that he and Under Armour were ending their partnership. As a sneaker free agent, he wore the ā€˜Mambacita’ Nike Kobe 6s during shootaround before their game against the Spurs.

The Warriors' superstar returned to his Curry Brand shoes to drop 49 points. In that battle, Victor Wembanyama dunked on Draymond Green and ended up having a war of words with the 4-time champion.

Green was again in the spotlight when he confronted a heckling fan while playing against the New Orleans Pelicans. Apparently, the fan taunted him by calling him ā€˜Angel Reese’, suggesting the forward was merely a rebounding expert.

His former teammate, Klay Thompson, lashed out at former players Patrick Beverley and Jason Williams for using a derogatory word to identify Megan Thee Stallion, while claiming the Mavs star’s relationship could be the reason for his drop in form.

The following day, Beverley was arrested on felony assault charges. After posting $40K bail, his attorney revealed that he roughed up an 18-year-old man who was spending the night with Beverley’s underage sister.

Timberwolves HC Chris Finch trolled Lakers compatriot JJ Redick by suggesting that appearing on podcasts could make someone a head coach. It came the day after the Lakers were handed their worst loss by OKC.

LeBron James was assigned to the team’s G-League outfit, which led Austin Reaves to troll that it was cool to see Bronny James on the 1st team with his father in their development unit. James has since been bumped up to return to the Lakers.

šŸŒļø Woods Family Triumph, Kai Trump's Debut, and Rory's Seventh Title

The LPGA Tour faced controversy after Kai Trump, President Trump's daughter, received a sponsor's invite. Her connections sparked mixed reactions and plenty of media attention.

She struggled in her LPGA debut, shooting a score of 83 in her first round. Kai Trump did improve to a 75 in the second round, but still missed the tournament cut.

Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren were seen supporting their son, Charlie Woods, at his high school state championship. The young star fired a sensational final-round score of 68. He finished fourth individually in the tournament. More importantly, his play helped his team, the Benjamin Buccaneers, secure the high school State Championship title.

Rory McIlroy reaffirmed his dominance by winning his seventh Race to Dubai Title. This crowns him the European Tour's number one player for the season.

He lost the final DP World Tour Championship to Matt Fitzpatrick in a sudden-death playoff. Despite the final loss, McIlroy's season-long performance secured his dynasty status.

šŸˆ Mahomes Loses, Sanders Struggles, and the Chase-Ramsey Brawl

Facing a must-win situation, Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs went to battle against the Broncos, knowing he had the edge against them so far. Even though Travis Kelce had a good game, the QB’s interception and a late field goal saw them lose.

Shedeur Sanders started his career in the NFL with an interception. The Ravens’ Kyle Hamilton first mocked the rookie’s watch celebration after sacking him, then the interception, and an overall terrible outing left the QB shaken. He apologized to his teammates.

Interceptions seemed to be the deal of the day after the Rams picked off Sam Darnold 4 times in their battle. The same situation followed Jared Goff and Justin Herbert, whose turnovers indirectly cost their teams’ games.

JJ McCarthy’s 2 interceptions left superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson fuming. It seems he is losing patience with his young QB. The wideout’s LSU teammate, Ja’Marr Chase, then got into a situation that could test the Bengals’ patience.

An altercation with Jalen Ramsey saw the latter being tossed out of the game. The Steelers DB claimed that Chase spat at him, which the Bengals WR denied. Then replay footage proved that Chase instigated Ramsey into throwing punches at him.

Ramsey’s quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, left their game at halftime after injuring his wrist. He suffered a small fracture, which should probably see him miss at least their next game. At least Mason Rudolph had a good game to hand them a win.

Bryce Young also had a terrific game for the Panthers, breaking some records while leading them to an impressive win over the Cardinals. No other QB was more impressive than Josh Allen, who threw 3 TDs and ran in three more to set a new NFL record.
